The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcia scores with a sloppy right hand. Wade should have avoided that one.
Garcia avoids the body shot from Wade.
Garcia scores with a nice head shot.
Garcia keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Good work by Garcia as he checks the leg kick.
Wade lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Rodney Garcia has been cut.
A slapping body kick lands there for Garcia.
Garcia lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Wade backs up against the cage.

Wade throws a leg kick but Garcia moved away.
It looked like Garcia wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wade fails to land with a series of punches.
Wade has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Garcia.
Wade throws a leg kick but Garcia checks it.

Garcia closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Garcia lands in his opponent's guard.
Wade is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Garcia is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Garcia advances to half guard.
Garcia is trying to work for a kimura but Wade is defending well.
Wade is not content to let Garcia control the position.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Garcia is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Garcia seems to be looking for submissions.
Garcia wants to free his trapped foot but Wade is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Garcia is working for a kimura but Wade is defending it quite comfortably.
Garcia wants to take a breather but Wade is having none of it.

Garcia frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Garcia looking to control but Wade is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Wade tries to buck Garcia off but he can't manage it.
Garcia is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Wade has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Wade's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Garcia is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wade can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Wade is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Garcia locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Wade is forced to tap!
