Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ratard Ferus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Max Peterson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Peterson misses.
Ferus clobbers Peterson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Peterson shoots in for a takedown but Ferus shows good takedown defense.
Ferus thinks about countering with a head kick.
Peterson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Ferus is trying to improve his position.
Peterson gets to mount! Ferus was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Ferus on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Ferus tries to get out of the position.
Peterson scores with a couple of good head shots there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Peterson is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Ferus is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Ferus flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Peterson anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Ferus and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Peterson slips an arm under Ferus chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Peterson has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Peterson is squeezing on Ferus like an anaconda would it's prey. Ferus fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Max Peterson!
