Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Iswan Dono (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mark Munoz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Iswan Dono! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 9 - 1, fighting out of The Island, Mark Munoz! The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, David Hoff and Michael Johnstone.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Munoz has a takedown stuffed. Dono attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Dono has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Hut - $50 in the buildup to the fight. A head kick misses from Dono. Munoz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dono. Dono obviously looking to wear him down.

Munoz shoots in for a takedown but Dono shows good takedown defense. Munoz closes the distance and pushes Dono back into the cage. Dono really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Dono is fighting off a takedown attempt but Munoz is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Dono to the mat. Dono regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Munoz accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Munoz stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dono swivels though and keeps the full guard. Dono avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Munoz missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Dono is looking to stand up but Munoz isn't so interested in that idea. Munoz throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dono is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Munoz gets full guard. Munoz is pulling down on Dono's head. It's preventing any offense from Dono, at least for the moment.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Munoz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dono as he avoids it easily. Iswan Dono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Munoz. A slapping leg kick lands for Dono.
Munoz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dono defends well and Munoz ends up having to push Dono into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Munoz ducks right into an uppercut from Dono. Munoz takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Munoz with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Dono to score with a decent uppercut. Munoz fails to land the takedown. Munoz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dono defends well and Munoz ends up having to push Dono into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. It looked like Dono was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Munoz. Munoz looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dono bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Dono lands a right hook to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Good exchange - Dono coming out on top. Munoz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dono. Dono obviously looking to wear him down.
A decent looking cross lands there for Dono. Dono tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Dono digs a good body shot into Munoz's ribs. Munoz on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Munoz is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Dono. Munoz moves into the clinch successfully.
Dono jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Munoz walks away with a smile on his face. Dono gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Dono throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Iswan Dono is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Dono is looking to slow Munoz down with leg kicks. Munoz takes a kick to the side of the head. Dono pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Dono moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Munoz will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dono lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Munoz takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Munoz doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Dono lands with an overhand left. Munoz has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Dono. Munoz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dono defends well and Munoz ends up having to push Dono into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dono changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Nice uppercut lands for Dono. That snapped Munoz's head back.
Munoz shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Dono connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Dono scores with a nice right hand.
Dono fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Munoz. Munoz tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Dono defends well and Munoz ends up having to push Dono into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Dono uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Dono sizes up Munoz with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Dono fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Munoz has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Dono lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dono bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Munoz's head. Dono is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Munoz shoots for a takedown but Dono saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dono scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Munoz takes a body punch but keeps moving. Munoz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Dono. Dono obviously looking to wear him down.

Munoz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Dono manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Dono lunges at Munoz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Munoz's hand. Dono bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Munoz's head. Dono feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Munoz's calf. Decent striking displayed by Dono there. Dono slaps away a takedown attempt from Munoz, before circling back to the center of the mat. It looked like Dono wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Munoz dives in for a single leg takedown but Dono sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Dono lands with a nice body punch. Dono scores with a head kick. Munoz tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Iswan Dono dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Decent striking displayed by Dono there. Munoz takes a kick to the side of the head. Horrible takedown attempt by Munoz or perhaps it was just good defense by Dono, which made it look bad. Dono lands with a hook. Munoz tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Munoz has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Dono finds it's way round the side to connect with Munoz's head. Nice shot by Dono. Dono moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Dono moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Munoz scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Munoz rushes Dono and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Munoz gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dono.
Munoz changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Dono fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Dono feints a jab promting Munoz to slip. Dono then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Munoz slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Dono scores with a nice strike. Munoz misses with a takedown and Munoz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Iswan Dono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Munoz. Munoz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Dono connects with a nice looking jab.
Dono connects with a crisp jab. Iswan Dono is winning the standup battle so far. Dono connects with a looping right hand.
Dono scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Dono connects with a solid leg kick. Munoz walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Munoz shoots and misses and Dono makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Munoz is breathing heavily. This has been an exciting period of action! Dono looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Dono lets loose with a powerful body kick. Munoz will feel that in the morning. Dono lands with a good body shot. Dono connects with a leg kick. Munoz looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Dono works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Munoz gets a clinch. Dono tries to pull guard but Munoz holds him up against the cage and eventually Dono drops back down to his feet.
Munoz has picked Dono up - he's going for a ride! Munoz dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard. Munoz wants to free his trapped foot but Dono is holding on for dear life with his legs. Munoz looks to land a strike but Dono avoids it nicely and regains full guard. Dono with a couple of shots from the bottom there - nothing Munoz can't handle though.
Dono is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Munoz can do to turn this around? Dono is controlling Munoz's posture. Munoz preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Munoz trying to control the position from guard on top but Dono is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Munoz postures up in Dono's guard and throws a big left but Dono blocks it. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Dono keeping moving, preventing Munoz from controlling successfully.

Munoz sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Munoz shoots in but Dono avoids the takedown attempt easily. Dono attempts a counter takedown but Munoz avoids it well and moves away. Dono is looking to slow Munoz down with leg kicks. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Munoz drives through with a takedown into guard. Munoz throws a big right hand that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dono looking to control.

Iswan Dono dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Munoz wants to clinch. Munoz has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Dono throws a series of punches but Munoz avoids them all with ease. Dono is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Dono ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Munoz is looking to clinch. Dono tests Munoz's chin there with a solid looking shot. Dono scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Munoz doesn't seem bothered though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Munoz goes for a double leg but Dono avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Dono continues to drive forward. Dono is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. A punch combination from Munoz misses. Dono lands a front kick. Dono lands with a slapping head kick. Munoz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Munoz is looking to clinch but Dono is avoiding it.
Dono connects with a right hand. Munoz shakes it off. Dono bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Munoz's head. Munoz shoots for a takedown but Dono saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Dono lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Dono scores with a hook to the body. Munoz takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Iswan Dono seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dono lands a nice looking kick to the body. Munoz takes a step back to recover. Munoz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Dono swivels and escapes. Iswan Dono has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Munoz. Dono lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Dono fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Munoz steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Dono. That one must have hurt. Mark Munoz is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. This has been an exciting period of action! Munoz tries to close the distance and clinch up but Dono swats him away and circles back towards the center. Munoz has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Dono. Munoz takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Dono bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Munoz's head backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good exchange - Dono coming out on top. Munoz moves into the clinch. Dono tries to score a body lock takedown but Munoz shows good agility there to stay on his feet. Munoz drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dono pulls his leg out and moves away.

Munoz shoots in looking for a takedown. Dono tries to sprawl out of it but Munoz keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Dono manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. It looked like Dono wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Dono connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Iswan Dono is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Munoz misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dono cracks Munoz with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Dono lands with a good body shot. Dono lands with a kick to the ribs.

Munoz takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Munoz takes one on the button. A slapping body kick lands there for Dono. Dono lands a head kick!
Dono lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Munoz at a distance.
Dono fakes the leg kick and cracks Munoz in the body. This has been an exciting period of action! Munoz moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Dono.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dono lands with a thumping leg kick.
Munoz chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Dono can pounce on him.
Sloppy strikes from Munoz. Those never looked like landing. Munoz's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Dono lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Dono jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Munoz gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Munoz shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Nice jab there from Dono. Dono connects with a right hand. Munoz shakes it off. Dono slaps away a takedown attempt from Munoz, before circling back to the center of the mat. Munoz takes one on the chin but seems OK.
And that's the end of the fight! Iswan Dono showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Dono, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
