DeMarquez comes to the ring accompanied by In the Beginning. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeMarquez misses with a body shot
and Murdock counters with a lovely straight right hand!
DeMarquez throws a lazy uppercut
and Murdock counters with a straight right hand.
Murdock misses with a hook. DeMarquez ducked under it nicely.
Murdock slips a straight right by DeMarquez.
DeMarquez waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Murdock.
DeMarquez misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Murdock connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
DeMarquez bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Murdock lands with a nice combination. DeMarquez backs away looking to recover.
A punch lands to the side of Murdock 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Murdock keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Murdock only half commits to the counter leg kick.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
DeMarquez throws a poor cross that misses
and Murdock cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
DeMarquez is rocked!
DeMarquez seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
DeMarquez swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Murdock is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Oh DeMarquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Murdock connects with a crushing straight, right on the bridge of DeMarquez's nose, sending him crumpling to the mat! That's really rocked DeMarquez - is he going to beat the count??? 4,5,6,7,8,9.....10 - he's not made it - this one is all over!

An out of breath Michael Murdock thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
