Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Te Huna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Makahlen Gorbachoff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Te Huna kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Chevelle-Jars. Te Huna has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. James Te Huna has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 20 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, James Te Huna! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
23 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Makahlen Gorbachoff! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gorbachoff moves into the clinch. Gorbachoff scores with a nice hook to the head. Gorbachoff working some nice short punches in the clinch. A short uppercut from Gorbachoff. Te Huna misses with the head strike.
Gorbachoff has a couple of punches blocked by Te Huna.
A nice left hand lands by Gorbachoff.
Gorbachoff misses with the head strike.
A nice right hand lands inside from Gorbachoff. Gorbachoff lands a shoulder strike. Gorbachoff breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Te Huna misses with a left hand and Gorbachoff counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Te Huna thinking. Te Huna is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Gorbachoff tries to land a front kick but Te Huna steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Gorbachoff moves into range and clinches up with Te Huna. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Te Huna creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Te Huna throws a head punch that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Te Huna gets control of Gorbachoff's arms and successfully pulls guard. Te Huna will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Te Huna utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Gorbachoff loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Gorbachoff trying to control but Te Huna is working from the bottom. Gorbachoff throws a big right hand that misses. Gorbachoff trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Gorbachoff wants to pass the guard but Te Huna is keeping the position. Gorbachoff working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Gorbachoff trying to control the position from guard on top but Te Huna is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Gorbachoff closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Te Huna quickly recovers to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Gorbachoff is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Gorbachoff prevents Te Huna from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Gorbachoff is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gorbachoff thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Te Huna's head. Gorbachoff wants to pass to mount but Te Huna is defending the position. Te Huna is trying to control but can't.
Te Huna keeps control of the position for the meantime.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gorbachoff passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Te Huna! Te Huna is in a horrible position here. Gorbachoff smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Te Huna is squirming around, avoiding Gorbachoff's attempts to control the action. Gorbachoff has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gorbachoff is in the full mount, landing strikes. Te Huna is looking to get to half guard. Gorbachoff landing strikes from the mount.
It looks like James Te Huna has been cut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gorbachoff with shots to the head and body - Te Huna looks very uncomfortable down there.
Te Huna is rocked! Gorbachoff wants to control the pace but Te Huna is squirming around nicely. Gorbachoff controlling the position easily from mount. Gorbachoff landing strikes from the mount. Gorbachoff unloading with bombs! Oh Te Huna is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Gorbachoff drops a big elbow. That's hurt Te Huna! More shots from Gorbachoff and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Makahlen Gorbachoff! After winning the bout, Makahlen Gorbachoff thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
