Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Trip Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Pranwkanko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Trip Austin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Igor Pranwkanko!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Austin looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Pranwkanko is fending him off so far but Austin persists. Nope, Pranwkanko circles away and we're back to standing.

and Austin counters with a shoot takedown. Pranwkanko fights it but they end up in guard.

Pranwkanko had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Austin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Pranwkanko Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Austin's back instead.

Pranwkanko throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.

Even with his hooks in, Pranwkanko manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Austin wants to control his opponent's hands but Pranwkanko gets his hands free.

Austin is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pranwkanko is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Austin rolls, trying to escape but Pranwkanko keeps control of the position.

Pranwkanko thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Austin's head.
Austin tries to get to full guard but Pranwkanko has control of the leg.

Austin is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Pranwkanko pulls his head out easily.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Austin looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Pranwkanko!
Austin wants to control the pace but Pranwkanko is squirming around nicely.

Austin goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Pranwkanko turns into him and now he's in Austin's guard.

Austin is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Austin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pranwkanko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Pranwkanko thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Austin closes the distance and clinches.
Austin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Pranwkanko.
Pranwkanko is trying to drag Austin to the mat but Austin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Austin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pranwkanko is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Pranwkanko is breathing heavily.

Austin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Pranwkanko avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Austin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pranwkanko doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pranwkanko manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Pranwkanko is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Austin is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Austin is trying to control Pranwkanko's posture but Pranwkanko avoids it.
Pranwkanko wants to control but Austin is keeping him busy.

Igor Pranwkanko showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Austin changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Pranwkanko looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Austin is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Pranwkanko has escaped the position, nice work there.

Pranwkanko is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Pranwkanko is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
