Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Johnathon Duran (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luke Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Luke Walker has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Johnathon Duran's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnathon Duran! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Walker! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Duran has a takedown stuffed. Walker is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Luke Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Walker wants it to stay on the feet. Walker drives through with a takedown into Duran's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Walker sitting in guard, not really doing much. Walker scoring with some ground and pound.
It looks like Johnathon Duran has been cut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Walker is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Walker's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Duran really is a fat lump.
That's one minute gone in the round. Duran wants to get back to his feet but Walker is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Walker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Walker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Walker wants to stand but Duran has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Walker engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Walker leaves Duran with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Johnathon Duran. That's going to take a lot out of him. Duran shoots in looking for a takedown but Walker manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Duran's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Walker drives through with a takedown into guard. Duran thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Walker content to stall in guard here. Walker throwing strikes but missing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker trying to control but Duran is working from the bottom. Walker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Duran is keeping the position for now. Walker wants to get up but he can't break Duran's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Duran wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Walker manages to pass to side control.

Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Duran closes the distance and clinches up with Walker, looking for a takedown. Duran pushes Walker against the cage but Walker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Walker shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Walker showed some decent athleticism there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Duran moves into range and clinches up with Walker. Duran tries to pull guard but Walker holds him up against the cage and eventually Duran drops back down to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Duran gets in close and instigates a clinch. Duran wants to break free but Walker has control.
Walker wants the takedown. Duran is fighting it off but Walker persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Duran's guard against the cage. Walker throws a big right hand that misses. Walker controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Walker pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Duran is keeping the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker prevents Duran from getting back to his feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Walker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Walker controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Walker gets a takedown into half guard. Duran kicks off Walker and gets to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walker tests Duran's chin there with a solid looking shot. Walker gets a double leg takedown into Duran's guard. Walker has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Walker looking to pass the guard. Walker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Duran's head. Walker throws a big elbow that misses. Duran is pulling down on Walker's head. It's preventing any offense from Walker, at least for the moment. Walker not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Both fighters are breathing heavily. Walker seems to be working for a kimura but Duran defends the submission attempt. Walker perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Duran gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Walker counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Duran thinking. Walker drives through and clinches with Duran against the cage.

Walker manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Walker is adopting a defensive guard. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. And that's the end of the fight! Luke Walker comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Walker has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
