0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Mickey McKenna! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hill slaps away a takedown attempt from McKenna, before circling back to the center of the mat. Hill looking to score a takedown here. McKenna is defending well but Hill drives through and ends up in McKenna's guard. McKenna wants to hit a switch here but Hill passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for McKenna there! McKenna is working to get back to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Hill is going oldschool here, as he tries to force McKenna to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so McKenna shrugs it off.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hill controlling his opponent. Hill working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McKenna in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McKenna is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
McKenna manages to regain half guard. Good work. Hill could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. McKenna is trying to control but Hill manages to pass to mount!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hill lands with some strikes. Hill has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. A nice elbow there by Hill. Hill landing strikes, looking to finish! McKenna looks winded! Hill sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Hill tries to control but McKenna wriggling away. Hill raining down hammerfists from mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hill with the ground and pound from mount. McKenna can't escape the position.
Hill lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
McKenna is squirming around, avoiding Hill's attempts to control the action. Hill looking to control and managing it successfully. McKenna tries to hold on but Hill pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Hill cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Hill can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as McKenna is looking to escape. McKenna can't escape the position.
McKenna in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. McKenna tries to lock up and control but Hill gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. McKenna is trying desperately to improve position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! McKenna takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micah Hill dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Hill rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but McKenna moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McKenna shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Hill sprawls well. Hill wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. McKenna gets slowly back to his feet. McKenna closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hill circles away. McKenna tries to clinch up. Hill was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Hill clinches up with McKenna and pushes him back against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hill is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables McKenna to keep the fight standing. McKenna is breathing heavily. Hill tightens his grip and picks McKenna up, before dumping him to the ground. McKenna manages to land in guard. McKenna uses the cage to get back to his feet.
A combination from Hill does no damage.
That's one minute gone in the round. McKenna pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Hill back to the cage. McKenna follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Micah Hill has been cut. McKenna misses with a takedown attempt and Hill counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Hill. Micah Hill has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mickey McKenna. Hill gets underhooks to prevent McKenna's takedown attempt.
McKenna blocks an uppercut.
Hill lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of McKenna backwards. Hill is working for takedown but McKenna is calmly controlling the position for now. McKenna wants to break free but Hill has control.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hill working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Hill postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. McKenna avoids the body shot from Hill.
McKenna tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hill instigates a clinch. McKenna wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Hill leaning his opponent against the cage. McKenna throws a knee to the head but misses.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Hill stalls. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Micah Hill dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Micah Hill's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
McKenna shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Hill as he avoids it easily. Hill drops down looking for a counter takedown but McKenna sprawls and moves away. Hill shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in McKenna's guard. McKenna wants to stand and escape but Hill is having none of it. Hill lands a couple of digs. Hill connects with a couple of short punches. Hill connects with a couple of short punches. Hill makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Hill loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hill's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Hill slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hill drops back looking for a leg! McKenna is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and McKenna manages to kick Hill off! Hill jumps back into McKenna's guard. Hill controlling from the top position.

McKenna stalling in the clinch but Hill improves position. Hill is fighting off a takedown attempt but McKenna is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Hill to the mat. Hill regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Hill is looking to stand up but McKenna isn't so interested in that idea. McKenna stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hill swivels though and keeps the full guard. Hill is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst McKenna is controlling him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Hill manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. McKenna manages to get himself to full guard.

And that's the end of the fight! Micah Hill showed his dominance in that final round. Well Hill has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
