The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mantecon connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Omeruo's hands.
Mantecon wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Omeruo swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Mantecon counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Omeruo throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Omeruo throws a right and a left that Mantecon avoids nicely.

Oh Omeruo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mantecon fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Omeruo.
Omeruo seems to have got his legs back now.
Omeruo looks for a takedown but Mantecon sprawls well.
The fighters circling - Omeruo throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Mantecon lands a nice looking body shot.

Mantecon lands a left and a right that send Omeruo crashing to the mat, dazed. Mantecon thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Joseph Omeruo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Omeruo shoots in looking for a takedown but Mantecon manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Omeruo's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Mantecon lands a nice looking kick to the body. Omeruo takes a step back to recover.
Omeruo is breathing heavily.
Omeruo stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Mantecon.
An inside leg kick lands from Mantecon.
Mantecon connects with a solid leg kick.
Mantecon feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Omeruo's calf.
