Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jad Mabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Falwell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mabe's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Haste the Day - Mad Man. Johnny Falwell is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Mabe misses.
Falwell shoots for a takedown but Mabe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A combination from Mabe does no damage.
Falwell uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Mabe.
Falwell looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mabe is fending him off so far but Falwell persists. Nope, Mabe circles away and we're back to standing.
The fight stays on the outside here - Falwell looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Mabe lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Falwell shoots in and drives through. Mabe sprawls well.
Jad Mabe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Johnny Falwell.
Mabe gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Falwell.
Mabe breaks from the clinch.
Falwell tries to clinch but Mabe moves out of range.
Falwell tries for a takedown but Mabe sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mabe fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Falwell pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mabe wants to clinch but Falwell slips to the side
and Falwell counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Mabe tries for a takedown but Falwell manages to get underhooks.
Falwell should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Mabe misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Falwell.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Mabe escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Falwell closes the distance and clinches up with Mabe, looking for a takedown. Falwell pushes Mabe against the cage but Mabe circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Falwell moves away from the strike by Mabe.
Falwell with a lazy takedown attempt
and Mabe counters with a nice low kick that buckles Falwell's knee momentarily.
Whack! Mabe lands a heavy head kick that drops Falwell. The ref tackles Mabe to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Falwell was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Jad Mabe!
