Ramos has chosen Simple Man as his entrance music. Dmitri Ramos has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Danny Mcmahon's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Mcmahon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Mcmahon controls from within his opponent's guard.

Mcmahon stands up from Ramos's guard - Mcmahon perhaps looking for a knockout.

Ramos shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mcmahon's guard.

Mcmahon has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ramos is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Ramos is fighting off a takedown attempt but Mcmahon is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ramos to the mat. Ramos regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Mcmahon postures up in Ramos's guard and throws a big left but Ramos blocks it.
Mcmahon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Mcmahon tries to free his leg and advance position but Ramos is retaining full guard.
Ramos looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mcmahon is one step ahead there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Mcmahon stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Ramos has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Mcmahon manages to get his head free but now Ramos has transitioned to an armbar! Mcmahon grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Ramos! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
