Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Glenn Huff (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drasek Riven (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glenn Huff!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Drasek Riven!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Cecil Peabody and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riven misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Riven closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Huff throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Riven tries to clinch but Huff is having none of it.
Huff half committed to a counter leg kick.
Drasek Riven seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Riven closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Huff's guard.

Huff is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Riven looks winded!

Huff manages to break the clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Riven moves in looking to clinch but Huff pushes him off.
Riven misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

and Huff counters with a takedown into side control.
Huff landing strikes.
Huff lands some shots froms side control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Huff working the ground and pound but Riven is defending the strikes.
Huff scoring with punches from side control.
Huff in side control lands a decent elbow.
Huff scores with a couple of short elbows.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Riven tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Huff wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Huff lands a nice forearm strike.
Huff postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Huff really is a fat lump.
Huff is looking to take a break and control but Riven is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Huff cracks Riven with a big right hand but Riven just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Huff connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Riven some visible discomfort.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Huff lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Huff landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.
Riven takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.

Huff is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Riven looks calm but he's in trouble here. Huff gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Riven is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Huff lets go of the hold and Riven can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Glenn Huff!
