The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vogeley throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Vogeley gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Vogeley manages to break the clinch.
Frederick scores with a jab. Vogeley acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Frederick misses with a looping left.
Frederick closes this distance looking for a takedown but Vogeley circles away.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Vogeley ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Vogeley no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frederick is looking to stand up but Vogeley won't let him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Vogeley has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Vogeley wants to sweep here but Frederick controlling him for the moment.
Vogeley has Frederick pulled in close to control his posture.
Vogeley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Frederick's guard.

Vogeley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Vogeley stands up over Frederick, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Frederick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Vogeley on the ground.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Frederick can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Vogeley controls the pace.
Frederick is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Vogeley stays in close to Frederick's body and controls the position.
Vogeley slips nicely into half guard.

Vogeley seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Frederick is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
