The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Sosuke Kotani and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tuomioja fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Army to the ground. Tuomioja is now in Army's guard.

Army stalks Tuomioja and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tuomioja's face. Tuomioja staggers backwards, shaken.
Tuomioja closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Army wants to get back to his feet but Tuomioja drags him back down.
Army tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Tuomioja wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Tuomioja swings around for an armbar but Army sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Tuomioja's guard.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
