The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Vladislav shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Duim manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Duim can do anything to dispel that myth.
Vladislav wants to pass the guard but Duim is keeping the position.
Vladislav stands and throws Duim's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Vladislav trying to control the action but Duim is working from the bottom.
Vladislav is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Duim is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vladislav thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Vladislav tries to move to mount but Duim blocks the move with his legs.
Duim is not content to let Vladislav control the position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
Vladislav is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Duim has escaped the position, nice work there.
Vladislav has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Duim is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Vladislav yanks on the arm and Duim is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Vladislav.
