The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Giovannetti gets a takedown into half guard.

Harrington kicks Giovannetti off and gets back to his feet.

Giovannetti fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Harrington sprawls well initially but Giovannetti persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Giovannetti looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Giovannetti keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Harrington has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Giovannetti is working away from the top position though.
Harrington on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Harrington gets back to full guard.
Giovannetti wants to control from the top but Harrington keeps moving.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Giovannetti thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Harrington is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Giovannetti is controlling him.

Giovannetti pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Harrington is keeping the position for now.

Harrington manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Giovannetti feints and as Harrington raises his hands in defense, Giovannetti changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Harrington manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Harrington lands an elbow inside.
Harrington jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Giovannetti walks away with a smile on his face. Harrington gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Danga de danga de dang - Giovannetti scores with a four punch combination!

Harrington is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Giovannetti drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Harrington's head, knocking him out cold! Giovannetti is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.
