The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thoreson is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A solid leg kick lands there for Thoreson.
Thoreson gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Weston has a couple of punches blocked by Thoreson.
Weston tries to throw a body punch but Thoreson avoids it by throwing Weston back against the cage.

Thoreson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Weston misses with a few strikes there.

Weston throws a quick head kick that knocks Thoreson silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Weston is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

Matt Weston was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
