Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tomasz Rzasa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sergio Marchionne (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tomasz Rzasa has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tomasz Rzasa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sergio Marchionne!
The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Matheus Silva and Mauricio Rocha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marchionne slips under a jab from Rzasa.

Rzasa forces Marchionne back against the ropes and clinches.
Rzasa is working for a takedown up against the ropes. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Rzasa breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Rzasa jabs at Marchionne's body.
Rzasa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Horrible takedown attempt by Marchionne or perhaps it was just good defense by Rzasa, which made it look bad.
A punch combination from Rzasa misses.

Marchionne tries to keep at a distance but Rzasa has taken the fight into the clinch.
Marchionne gets underhooks to prevent Rzasa's takedown attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rzasa pulls Marchionne into guard.

Rzasa is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Rzasa wants to stand up but Marchionne is controlling him.

Rzasa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Marchionne is one step ahead there.
Rzasa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Rzasa is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Rzasa darts in and clinches Marchionne up against the ropes.
Rzasa struggles to land a body shot inside as Marchionne controls his hands.
Rzasa prevents the takedown attempt.

Marchionne gets control of Rzasa's arms and successfully pulls guard. Marchionne will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Rzasa controlling from the top position.

Rzasa trying to control but Marchionne is working from the bottom.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Rzasa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marchionne swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Rzasa throws a body kick that misses

and Marchionne counters with a single leg into guard. Rzasa didn't expect that.
Rzasa wants to sweep here but Marchionne controlling him for the moment.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Rzasa has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marchionne can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Rzasa on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Rzasa tries to get out of the position.
Rzasa is trying to control the position from the bottom.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tomasz Rzasa dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Rzasa wants to slow Marchionne down by chopping away at his legs.
Rzasa tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Marchionne paws at him with a jab and circles away.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Marchionne.
The fight stays on the outside here - Rzasa looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Marchionne avoids the head kick by Rzasa.
And Marchionne tries to counter it with a takedown but Rzasa pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Marchionne keeps the fight on the outside.
Marchionne shoots for a takedown but Rzasa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
As Marchionne tries to get set, Rzasa tries to push him back and clinch up but Marchionne manages to avoid the attempt.

Rzasa darts in and clinches Marchionne up against the ropes.
Marchionne is trying to drag Rzasa to the mat but Rzasa just about manages to keep his footing. He used the ropes to his advantage there.
Tomasz Rzasa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Sergio Marchionne.
Rzasa can't find room to land a body shot as Marchionne controls the action.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Marchionne jumps into guard, dragging Rzasa to the mat.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Marchionne is breathing heavily.
Rzasa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Marchionne is proving hard to escape from.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rzasa tries to stand but Marchionne is controlling from the bottom.
Rzasa trying to control but Marchionne is working from the bottom.
Rzasa wants to pass the guard but Marchionne is keeping the position.
Rzasa has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Marchionne is proving hard to escape from.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Rzasa throws a big right hand that misses.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Rzasa gets caught napping as Marchionne dives in and scores a takedown. Rzasa manages to retain guard.
Rzasa wants to improve his position but instead Marchionne has moved into half guard.
Rzasa gets back to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Rzasa is on top in guard.
Rzasa would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Rzasa passes easily into side control. Nice work.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Marchionne managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Rzasa.
Rzasa tries to score with some ground and pound. Marchionne controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Rzasa wants to stand but Marchionne is controlling his arm.
Marchionne is letting Rzasa control him for a moment.

Rzasa wants to control but Marchionne is keeping him busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Tomasz Rzasa will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Rzasa is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Marchionne gets tackled into the ropes by Rzasa. Rzasa maintains the clinch.
Marchionne tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Rzasa just stands there and leans against the ropes.
Marchionne's coach down at Sentinel Sparring was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Marchionne's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Marchionne gets underhooks to prevent Rzasa's takedown attempt.
Marchionne goes for a takedown in the clinch but Rzasa prevents it.
Rzasa stalling against the ropes.
Marchionne is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the ropes enables Rzasa to keep the fight standing.

Rzasa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Marchionne takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Rzasa is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Marchionne can do to turn this around?
Marchionne can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Rzasa controls the pace.
Rzasa trying to control the position from guard on top but Marchionne is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Marchionne keeping moving, preventing Rzasa from controlling successfully.
Rzasa working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Rzasa stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Marchionne swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Tomasz Rzasa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Marchionne throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rzasa's waist but Rzasa gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Marchionne off to one side.
Marchionne shoots in but no luck this time.
Rzasa attempts a counter takedown but Marchionne avoids it well and moves away.

Rzasa moves into range and clinches up with Marchionne.
Rzasa drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Rzasa turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Rzasa manages to end up in side control.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Marchionne is looking for a sweep.
Rzasa wants to control but Marchionne is keeping him busy.

Rzasa is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Marchionne has escaped the position, nice work there.
Rzasa is looking to take a break and control but Marchionne is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Marchionne dodges the ground and pound from Rzasa.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Marchionne is not content to let Rzasa control the position.
Rzasa postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Rzasa really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Rzasa tries to clinch but Marchionne is having none of it.

Marchionne tries to keep at a distance but Rzasa has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sergio Marchionne has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Tomasz Rzasa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Marchionne tries to pull guard but Rzasa holds him up against the ropes and eventually Marchionne drops back down to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tomasz Rzasa showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Rzasa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
