Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Brandon Grant!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Johanna Lukiainen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tripp missing with a left hand there. Grant was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tripp throws a good cross that connects.
Brandon Grant seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tripp slips a jab and a cross from Grant.
Grant looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tripp looks to land a combination but Grant avoids it well.
Tripp lands an overhand right.
That has opened up Brandon Grant's cut even more.
Grant misses with a double jab
and Tripp counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tripp lands a two punch combo.
Grant throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Grant wants to clinch.

Tripp keeps the fight on the outside.
Jackson Tripp is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Grant dodges the punch combination from Tripp.
Grant shoots and misses
and Tripp cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
The cut above Brandon Grant's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Grant lands a jab.
Tripp on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Grant goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Tripp looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Grant looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Jackson Tripp has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brandon Grant.
Grant misses with an uppercut
and Tripp counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Grant clinches up with Tripp and pushes him back against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Grant is looking for a takedown.
Tripp breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tripp tries to bum rush Grant with a series of wild strikes but Grant uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tripp avoids the body shot from Grant.
Grant uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tripp.
Tripp slips under a jab.
An attempted straight right counter from Tripp misses the target.
Grant tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tripp manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Grant changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tripp looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Grant has hold of Tripp's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Tripp tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Grant cranks the arm and Tripp screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Tripp, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Brandon Grant!
