Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Simon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Rodgers (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Simon comes into the arena with Darude - Sandstorm blaring out of the sound system. Harry Rodgers will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Simon is looking to slow Rodgers down with leg kicks.
Rodgers throws a shot to the body.
Rodgers uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Simon.
Simon wants to slow Rodgers down by chopping away at his legs.
Simon throws a sloppy head kick
and Rodgers counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Simon is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Rodgers is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Simon shoots in for a double leg but Rodgers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
