Congo fails in his attempt to clinch.
Congo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
We've been informed that Carroll has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Carroll throws a leg kick but Congo sees it coming and moves out of range.
Congo misses the shot to the body.
Congo with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Carroll to score with a decent uppercut.

Carroll lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Congo tries to clinch up but Carroll circles away and keeps his distance.
Carroll missing with a left hand there. Congo was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Carroll throws a jab but it's blocked by Congo.

letting Congo counter with a right hand.

Congo misses with an uppercut.
Carroll cracks Congo with a right hand to the side of the head.
Congo is rocked!

Carroll fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Congo to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Congo looks to clinch but Carroll throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Congo taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Andy Carroll spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
Andokuhle Congo was interviewed post fight and said 'I'm so handsome i'm not surprised this guy was all over me. '.
