The bell rings for round one and we are underway! La Grande moves into range and clinches up with Masakazu. Masakazu definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. La Grande lands an elbow that stopped Masakazu in his tracks for a moment. La Grande is pressed up against the cage. Masakazu has hold of a leg and is looking to drag La Grande down to the mat. La Grande avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. La Grande leaves Masakazu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. La Grande has Masakazu up against the cage in a clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. La Grande with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Masakazu has a body lock and is looking for a takedown.
