Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jean Claude (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hayder Hassan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Jean Claude has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Jean Claude! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Hayder Hassan! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Claude stuffs the takedown. Claude tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Claude is looking to clinch but Hassan is avoiding it.
Claude dives in and scores a takedown into Hassan's guard. Hassan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Claude off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Hassan displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Claude. Hassan gets a takedown into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hassan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Claude tries to get to full guard but Hassan has control of the leg.
That's one minute gone in the round. Claude actively working from the bottom here. Hassan content to control rather than advance. It looks like Hassan might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Claude tries to roll over but Hassan keeps him under control. Hassan controlling the action here. Claude has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hassan is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Claude is looking for a sweep. Hassan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Hassan content to control rather than advance. Hassan stands up and beckons Claude to join him on the feet. Claude lunges at Hassan with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hassan's hand. Nice body kick from Claude. Claude tries to clinch but Hassan moves away and Hassan counters with a single leg into guard. Claude didn't expect that. Claude has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Hassan should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Claude has tightened it up now! Hassan should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jean Claude!
