The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Shimada and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A cross from Valdez lands.
Valdez scoring well with a low kick there.
Valdez moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Valdez connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Valdez fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Nove has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Nove gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Miguel Valdez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Valdez moves into range and connects with a jab.
Valdez connects with a crisp jab.
Valdez scores with a hook to the body. Nove takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
The crowd cheers as Valdez lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nove doesn't seem phased though.
Valdez definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Valdez jabs Nove right on the nose. Nove blinks but takes it well.
Nove moves forwards but Valdez connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Nove misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

Nove needs to keep his hands up - Valdez had a free shot at his head there.
Valdez bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Valdez lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nove gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Valdez gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
