Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thornton shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Thornton was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Thornton scores with a couple of short elbows.
Thornton is putting a hurting on Kerr here, landing some big shots from side control.
Thornton connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Kerr some visible discomfort.
Kerr is rocked!
Thornton wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Kerr, who protects the arm well.
Kerr is still in real trouble! Can Thornton finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Thornton lands a big elbow and you can see that really hurt Kerr! Thornton senses the opportunity and scores with more strikes - he's put Kerr out! The ref tackles him out of the way to prevent him landing more strikes - this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Keith Thornton!
Keith Thornton decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
