Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brady Wells (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Erevis Cale (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brady Wells!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Erevis Cale!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and .




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wells is trying hard to land a takedown here. Cale sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Cale misses with a head kick.
It looked like Wells wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Wells showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Cale.
Wells will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Cale fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Wells to the ground. Cale is now in Wells's guard.

Wells kicks Cale off and gets to his feet.

Cale shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wells is trying to defend but Cale finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Cale seems to be working for a kimura but Wells defends the submission attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Cale is figuring out what he wants to do next.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Wells keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Wells really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Cale performing his best blanket impression for a moment.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Cale throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Wells tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Cale is in Wells's guard.

Wells manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Wells wants to break the clinch but can't.

Wells has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Cale is trying to keep an underhook but Wells manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Cale moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Wells won't allow Cale to get back to his feet.

Cale avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Cale controlling the position.
Cale looking for a sweep. Not yet Cale, not yet.
Cale is controlling Wells's posture.
Cale tries to land a sweep but no joy.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wells postures up in Cale's guard and throws a big left but Cale blocks it.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Erevis Cale will probably get the nod.
That's time! Wells's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Wells throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Wells tries to keep at a distance but Cale has taken the fight into the clinch.
A body shot lands from Cale.
Wells is looking for a takedown.

Cale manages to pull guard.
Wells will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Cale lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Wells is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cale stays in close to Wells's body and controls the position.

Wells has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cale can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cale is stalling in the full guard.
Wells controls Cale momentarily but Cale frees himself.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Wells takes a swing at Cale's ribcage but misses.
Erevis Cale seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Cale counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cale.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Wells looking for a guillotine here but Cale defends easily.

Cale chips away with some ground and pound.

Wells had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cale defends it easily.
Cale has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Wells is proving hard to escape from.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Cale drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Cale postures up.
Wells being controlled here, momentarily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Erevis Cale showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Cale shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Wells kicks Cale off and gets back to his feet.
Wells tries to clinch up but Cale circles away and keeps his distance.
Cale tries a head kick but it misses.
A little feinted left hand from Wells on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Cale is looking for a sweep. Wells is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Cale holds on for dear life, maintaining half guard for now.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Wells thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Cale stuffs the takedown attempt from Wells. Wells gets slowly back to his feet.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Wells throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cale's waist but Cale gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wells off to one side.
A head kick misses from Cale.

Wells gets tackled into the cage by Cale. Cale maintains the clinch.

Wells is fighting off a takedown attempt but Cale is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Wells to the mat. Wells regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Cale is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Erevis Cale has got the better of the ground game so far.
Cale throws a big right hand that misses.
Cale seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cale is looking to stand up but Wells won't let him.

Cale stays in close to Wells's body and controls the position.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Cale instigates a clinch.

Cale successfully pulls guard.
Wells trying to control the position from guard on top but Cale is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Cale has his hands on Wells's head, controlling the position.
Cale has a closed guard, preventing Wells from standing up.
Cale is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Brady Wells has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Erevis Cale is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Erevis Cale comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cale has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
