Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hokey Pokey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oscar Henley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Henley has chosen Creedence Clearwater Revival - Proud Mary as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Hokey Pokey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Oscar Henley!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Steven Brown and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Henley rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Pokey moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Pokey defending well as Henley loads up on a big left hand.
Pokey uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Henley.
A head kick by Pokey misses
and Henley counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Henley pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Good leg kick by Pokey there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A punch combination from Henley misses.
Henley moves into the clinch.
Henley keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Pokey's efforts to push away.
Henley has Pokey pressed against the cage, preventing Pokey from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Henley lands with a left to the head.
Henley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Pokey fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Henley.
Henley has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Pokey.
Pokey scoring well with a low kick there.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Henley swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Henley jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Henley swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Pokey!
Pokey with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Pokey connects with a body shot.
Pokey uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Henley throws a lazy right hand but Pokey sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Pokey misses with a head kick.
Pokey slips a jab from Henley.
Pokey appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.
Henley rushes Pokey and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Henley displaying some good clinch control by pressing Pokey up against the cage.
Henley tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pokey smiles and moves away.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
A decent looking cross lands there for Henley.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Henley takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hokey Pokey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pokey's jab looks to have found its range, popping Henley under the eye.
Henley looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Pokey scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Henley misses with a lunging right hand
and Pokey counters with a nice low kick that buckles Henley's knee momentarily.
Pokey misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Henley walks into a stiff left hand from Pokey.
Henley moves into range and connects with a jab.
Henley stuns Pokey with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Henley scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Henley tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Pokey defends well and Henley ends up having to push Pokey into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Pokey manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Henley on his heels. He'll look to pass Henley's guard now, I'm sure.
Pokey will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Henley pushes a forearm under Pokey's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Pokey is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Oscar Henley!
In his post fight interview, Oscar Henley started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
