Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Micheal Taylor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Jolly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taylor comes to the cage accompanied by I have a dream. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Micheal Taylor!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Jolly!
The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jolly shoots in and bounces Taylor off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Jolly trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Taylor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Jolly is one step ahead there.
Jolly prevents Taylor from getting back to his feet.
Taylor is pulling down on Jolly's head to control his posture.
Taylor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taylor is trying to control the position but Jolly postures up.
Jolly trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Taylor looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jolly really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Taylor. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Jolly pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Taylor is keeping the position for now.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Taylor holds on and takes a little breather.
Jolly controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jolly stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Taylor swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jolly must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Taylor seems keen to control Jolly's posture.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Jolly closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Taylor missing with punches from the bottom.

Jolly is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Taylor still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Taylor has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work!

Taylor is trying to get an arm triangle but Jolly is defending well.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Taylor really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Taylor is looking to take a break and control but Jolly is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Taylor misses with a low kick.
Sloppy strikes from Jolly. Those never looked like landing.

Jolly looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Taylor wants to get back to his feet.
Taylor regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Jolly.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Taylor not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Taylor lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Taylor is looking to stand up but Jolly won't let him.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Taylor won't allow Jolly to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Justin Jolly dominated that round.
That's time! Taylor's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Horrible takedown attempt by Taylor or perhaps it was just good defense by Jolly, which made it look bad.
Taylor lands a two punch combo.
Jolly closes the distance and clinches up with Taylor, looking for a takedown. Jolly pushes Taylor against the cage but Taylor circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Taylor closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Jolly dodges the ground and pound from Taylor.

Jolly wants to control but Taylor postures up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jolly is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.

Taylor has an Americana. Jolly didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Taylor is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Taylor hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Micheal Taylor!
An out of breath Micheal Taylor thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
Justin Jolly spoke after the fight, saying 'I'LL SEE WHAT WENT WRONG AND TRY TO IMPROVE MAN . IM NEW TO THE GAME I'LL LEARN FROM THIS AND BE BACK '.
