Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mike Colston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Holzken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mike Colston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Rodney Holzken! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Colston stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Colston wants it to stay on the feet. Holzken throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Colston sees it coming and avoids it easily. A looping hook to the body misses from Holzken. Colston does a little dance to reset his feet. Holzken tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Colston was well out of range. Poor timing from Holzken. Colston feinted with a counter takedown. Nice shot by Holzken. Holzken looks to score with a jab to the body but Colston is just out of range. Colston takes one to the chin there. Nice defenses there by Colston. Good shot there by Holzken. Holzken closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Colston did well to prevent Holzken getting side control. The fighters are battling for position here. Colston manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Holzken tries to free his leg and advance position but Colston is retaining full guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Holzken trying to control but Colston is working from the bottom. Colston looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Holzken slips nicely into half guard. Colston tries to roll over but Holzken keeps him under control. Holzken is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Colston sees it coming and defends easily. Colston on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Colston tries to get out of the position. Holzken wants to control but Colston is keeping him busy. Colston wants to get back to full guard. Holzken is trying to work for a kimura but Colston is defending well.
Holzken works his foot free and advances to mount. Holzken looking to isolate an arm here. Colston doesn't see it coming and as Holzken extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Holzken!
