Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Roy Batty (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and St Pre James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Batty's entrance music is I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.... A fine choice. St Pre James is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Roy Batty! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, St Pre James! The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Batty lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
A head kick misses from James. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that James has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Batty swings away with a body shot that misses
and James counters with a lovely straight right hand! James fails in his attempt to clinch. Batty swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and James connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Batty fakes high and swings low for a body shot but James manages to avoid it. A big right from Batty misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Batty listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Batty throws a jab but it's blocked by James. James only half commits to the counter leg kick. Batty swings away with a body shot that misses

That's one minute gone in the round. Batty lands with a cross.
James is rocked! James ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. A telegraphed takedown attempt from James is defended easily by Batty. Batty throws a hook but James avoids it easily. James doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Batty misses with a straight right. James looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Batty gets a clinch. James wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's two minutes gone in the round. James tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Batty avoids it. A bit of stalling here from Batty.
Batty gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from James.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Batty lands with a short shot to the head. James blocks a punch to the side of the head.

James drops down looking for an ankle pick but Batty pulls his leg out and moves away.
Roy Batty has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of St Pre James. James uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Batty.
Batty connects with a good right hand that stumbles James. James circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Roy Batty seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. James misses with a head kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. James swats away the attempt to clinch by Batty. James misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
James tries for a takedown but Batty sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. James is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Batty's half guard. James is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. James is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Batty doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time James. Batty looking for a kimura from the bottom but James passes into side control!
That's four minutes gone in the round. James goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Batty has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for James but great work by Batty. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Batty's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Batty working away. Batty taking a breather here. Batty working away. James is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Batty is staying active. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Roy Batty dominated that round. That's time! Batty's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

James fails with a takedown attempt. Batty changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Roy Batty is winning the standup battle so far. Batty connects with a good right hand that stumbles James. James circles away out of range and recomposes himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That's one minute gone in the round. Batty pushing out the jab but it's not landing. James feints the counter takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Batty looks like he's thinking about clinching though. James throws a leg kick that is checked letting Batty counter with a right hand. Batty throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
No luck with that takedown attempt from James. Batty digs a good body shot into James's ribs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Batty connects with the punch. James is still on wobbly legs! Can Batty finish him? James gets caught by a big overhand right and goes down! Batty gets on top of him and starts throwing some serious punches until the ref intervenes and stops the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:16 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Roy Batty! An out of breath Roy Batty thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
