Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gaylord Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vigo Halk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Vigo Halk was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gaylord Miller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Vigo Halk!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Albert Achterberg and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halk misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It looked like Miller was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Halk.
Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Halk. Miller shrugs it off though.
Miller could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Miller enables Halk to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Miller manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Halk wants to stand but Miller is controlling his posture from full guard.
Halk drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Halk jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Halk throwing strikes but missing.
Miller is controlling Halk's posture.
Halk avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Miller is looking to cinch up a triangle. Halk throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Miller's body to avoid the submission. Miller has instead reached around Halk's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Miller arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Gaylord Miller!
