Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ichnig Reedin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Martin comes into the arena with Got Money by Lil Wayne blaring out of the sound system. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Martin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ichnig Reedin! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Reedin fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Martin gets a clinch. Reedin looking to slow down the pace here. Martin lands with a short head shot on the inside. The referee calls for Reedin to work.
Reedin on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Martin with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Reedin tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Reedin managing to block the knees to the body from Martin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reedin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Reedin darts in trying to clinch and Martin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Martin wants a takedown.
Martin has had enough of the clinch but Reedin keeps him there for the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reedin drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Martin gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Reedin is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Reedin is trying to drag Martin to the mat but Martin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ryan Martin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ichnig Reedin. Reedin avoiding damage as Martin throws knees to the body.
Reedin lands a takedown into guard.
Reedin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Reedin throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Martin works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reedin wants to control from the top but Martin keeps moving. Reedinis looking to pass into half guard but Martin pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Martin is in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reedin is trying to keep Martin in close.
Reedin working for a triangle but Martin defends it easily.
Martin has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Reedin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Martin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Martin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Reedin looks gassed! Martin chips away with some ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Reedin keeping moving, preventing Martin from controlling successfully. Reedin working for a triangle but Martin defends it easily.
Martin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reedin's guard. Martin stalling. Martin knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Reedin on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Reedin slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Reedin looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Reedin looking for a guillotine here but Martin defends easily.
Reedin pulls Martin in close to his closed guard and prevents Martin from doing any damage or advancing position. Martin wants to get up but he can't break Reedin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ichnig Reedin dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Martin clinches but Reedin breaks the clinch and Reedin counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Reedin changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Martin fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Martin closes the distance looking to clinch and Reedin counters with a low kick, right behind Martin 's knee. Martin tries to clinch letting Reedin counter with a right hand. Martin tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Reedin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Martin's guard. Reedin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Martin swivels though and keeps the full guard. Reedin has gone for a leg lock! Martin slips out almost immediately though and dives into Reedin's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reedin has a closed guard, preventing Martin from standing up. Reedin pulls Martin in close to prevent any damage. Martin won't allow Reedin to sweep him here. Reedin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Martin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Reedin is tightening it up a little... Martin has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Martin reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Martin taps out! nice BJJ there by Reedin!
