The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A right-left combo lands from Perry. Brewski clinches up with Perry and pushes him back against the cage. Perry wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Brewski fails to pull guard.
Brewski tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Perry just stands there and leans against the cage. Perry goes for a takedown attempt but Brewski pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Perry looks to land a combination. Brewski sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. Brewski shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Brewski doesn't manage to clinch there - Perry circles away.
Brewski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Perry as he jumps to the side. Quinton Perry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leon Brewski. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Perry!
It looks like Leon Brewski has been cut. Brewski should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! The crowd cheers as Perry lands an impressive looking overhand right. Brewski doesn't seem phased though. Perry listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Brewski avoids a punch combination nicely.
Perry throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Nice takedown defense from Perry. No joy for Brewski on that attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perry will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brewski shoots in looking for a takedown. Perry tries to sprawl out of it but Brewski keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Perry manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Perry swinging wilding here.
Perry dips to his left and cracks Brewski with an uppercut! A nice combination there by Perry.

Brewski shoots in but no luck this time. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Brewski. Brewski looks gassed! Perry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Perry lands a jab to the nose. Perry is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perry looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Perry misses with a jab, cross combination.
Perry lands a jab-cross combination. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Perry throws a nice looking combination but Brewski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Perry lands with a cross.
That has opened up Leon Brewski's cut even more. Perry throws a nice looking combination but Brewski bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. A jab from Perry does it's job there. Brewski is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Perry moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Perry jabs Brewski right on the nose. Brewski blinks but takes it well. Perry drops Brewski with a right and a left! Perry comes rushing in but Brewski regains his composure and manages to keep Perry in guard.
Brewski is rocked!
The cut above Leon Brewski's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Perry advances position into side control! Brewski is still in real trouble! Can Perry finish him? Brewski gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Brewski seems to have recovered his senses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perry landing strikes from the mount and Brewski is in trouble! Perry looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Perry looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Perry working for a submission but Brewski is keeping him at bay. Perry will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Perry get's back to his feet. Brewski has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Brewski changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Perry tries to avoid it but Brewski manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Perry to the ground. Perry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Quinton Perry is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Perry lands with a nice body punch.

Leon Brewski's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Leon Brewski's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
