Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mc Cullough Erwin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Soto Rojas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Mc Cullough Erwin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Soto Rojas! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rojas loads up on a big right hand but Erwin slips the punch. Rojas misses with a wild body shot. Erwin tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Rojas manages to circle out of the way. Rojas drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Erwin holds on and takes a little breather. Rojas trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Erwin seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Erwin seems to have improved his submission grappling technique since last time we saw him. Let's see if he can pull off a submission. Rojas trying to control but Erwin is working from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rojas is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Erwin looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Erwin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Rojas throws a body punch but Erwin moves out of range. Rojas throws a body shot but no joy. Rojas loads up on a big right hand but Erwin slips the punch. Erwin seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. The fighters circling - Rojas throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Erwin shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rojas napping and manages to drive through into side control! Rojas is trying to improve his position. Erwin working away. Rojas is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Erwin controls the position. Erwin tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Erwin has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Erwin tries to move into full mount but can't pass Rojas's legs. Erwin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Erwin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Rojas, who protects the arm well. Rojas wants to control but Erwin postures up. Rojas has one of Erwin's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Erwin is trying to get an arm triangle but Rojas is defending well. Erwin wants to control but Rojas is keeping him busy. Erwin has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Rojas!
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rojas tries to hold on but Erwin postures up. Erwin can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Rojas is looking to escape. Erwin is really struggling to control Rojas but he's trying to hold on to the position. Rojas slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Rojas is trying to control but can't.
Rojas looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Erwin is looking for a kimura but Rojas is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Erwin to get the leverage. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Rojas is looking for a sweep. Erwin is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Erwin is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Rojas is just riding it out for now. Erwin eventually gives up the hold. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Mc Cullough Erwin will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Jab by Rojas. Rojas jabs Erwin to the body, keeping him at a distance. Rojas feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Erwins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rojas throws a body shot but no joy. Rojas scores with a decent looking hook. A punch lands to the side of Erwin 's head but he takes it in his stride. Erwin pushes Rojas up against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rojas is looking to break free of the clinch but Erwin has double underhooks. A head punch blocked on the inside by Rojas. Erwin lands a shot to the body. Rojas is trying to break free. Erwin working aggressively here.
Rojas has had enough of the clinch but Erwin keeps him there for the moment. Rojas has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Erwin is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Rojas tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Rojas tries for a takedown but Erwin manages to get underhooks.
Erwin misses with a body punch.
Erwin lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Erwin misses with a hook from the clinch. Rojas drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mc Cullough Erwin has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Soto Rojas. Rojas pulls guard successfully.
Erwin is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Rojas is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Rojas has escaped and now he's on top!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Erwin keeping full guard, as Rojas tries to pass. Erwin is adopting a defensive guard. Erwin keeping moving, preventing Rojas from controlling successfully. Rojas wants to pass the guard but Erwin is keeping the position. Mc Cullough Erwin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Erwin bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rojas's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Erwin trying to control but Rojas is working from the bottom. Erwin engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Rojas is looking for a triangle but Erwin pushes his legs off easily.
Erwin trying to control the position from guard on top but Rojas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Erwin is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Rojas has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Erwin is looking to defend but Rojas has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Erwin! Rojas pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Erwin taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Soto Rojas! A relieved looking Soto Rojas thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
