Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Joey Jits (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phillip Flannigan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Flannigan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Spirit Of The West kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Joey Jits had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Joey Jits! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Phillip Flannigan! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jits closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Flannigan kicks Jits off and gets back to his feet. Jits clinches up with Flannigan and pushes him back against the cage. Flannigan wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jits fails to pull guard.
Our sources have told us that Jits has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight. Jits jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Flannigan walks away with a smile on his face. Jits gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Jits has his takedown stuffed and Flannigan counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joey Jits. That's going to take a lot out of him. Flannigan cracks Jits with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Flannigan looks to land a combination but Jits avoids it well. Jits goes for a double leg but Flannigan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Flannigan continues to drive forward. That's one minute gone in the round. Jits throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Flannigan's waist but Flannigan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Jits off to one side. Flannigan wants to counter the offense by Jits and move into the clinch position. Flannigan stuffs the takedown attempt from Jits. Jits gets slowly back to his feet. Flannigan lands a lovely overhand right. Jits tries for a takedown but Flannigan circles away easily and Flannigan counters by moving into the clinch. Jits's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Jits tries to pull guard but Flannigan forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jits landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Flannigan escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Flannigan clinches up with Jits and pushes him back against the cage. Flannigan throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Flannigan leaning against his opponent.
Flannigan misses with an elbow over the top. Flannigan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Jits up against the cage. Flannigan wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for Flannigan to work.
Flannigan lands a right hand that snaps the head of Jits backwards. Flannigan breaks from the clinch.
Jits shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Flannigan pinned against the cage. Flannigan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Jits tries for a takedown but Flannigan circles away easily and Flannigan counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jits stuns Flannigan with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jits shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Flannigan defends it nicely. Jits shoots in looking for a takedown. Flannigan tries to sprawl out of it but Jits keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Flannigan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Flannigan scores with a sloppy right hand. Jits should have avoided that one. Flannigan connects with a single shot there. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phillip Flannigan dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Jits takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Jits is rocked! Jits bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Flannigan throws Jits to one side and escapes! Jits shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Flannigan counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Jits has his takedown stuffed and Flannigan counters with a straight punch to the midsection. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Flannigan drives through and clinches with Jits against the cage.
A right handed body shot lands from Flannigan.
Flannigan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Flannigan closes the distance and pushes Jits back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Flannigan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Flannigan lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Flannigan lands with a good body shot. Flannigan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Jits is looking for a counter combo. Phillip Flannigan seems to be getting the better of the standup. Flannigan lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. The fight stays on the outside here - Jits looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Flannigan looks like he wants to counter punch here. Jits gets tackled into the cage by Flannigan. Flannigan maintains the clinch. Jits keeps control of Flannigan as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Flannigan breaks the clinch.
Phillip Flannigan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jits dives in for a single leg takedown but Flannigan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Flannigan has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Jits shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Flannigan pinned against the cage. Flannigan gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. A little jabbing left from Flannigan on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jits looking for a takedown here - he's got it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jits being controlled here momentarily. Flannigan has his feet on Jits's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Jab from Flannigan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jits doesn't succeed with the takedown and Flannigan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Jits shoots and misses and Flannigan counters by clinching up. Flannigan doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Flannigan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Flannigan moves into the clinch. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Flannigan manages to break the clinch.
Flannigan scores with a punch to the head. A decent looking cross lands there for Flannigan. Jits looks to clinch and Flannigan counters with a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Phillip Flannigan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

Flannigan connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Jits with a lazy takedown attempt and Flannigan counters with a crisp right that sends Jits to the canvas! Flannigan follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
