Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Artie DeVanzo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 7 - 3, fighting out of London, Frank Damozzi!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damozzi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
DeVanzo misses with a low kick.
Damozzi throws a lazy right hand but DeVanzo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Damozzi throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around DeVanzo's waist but DeVanzo gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Damozzi off to one side.

We've been hearing reports that DeVanzo has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Damozzi lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and DeVanzo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from DeVanzo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Artie DeVanzo will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
