The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mellon swats away the attempt to clinch by Leftwich.
Rock Mellon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Mellon lands a nice looking kick to the body. Leftwich takes a step back to recover.
Mellon throws a head kick that Leftwich semi-blocks.

Leftwich closes the distance and pushes Mellon back into the cage.

That was a close round but I would say that Rock Mellon will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Mellon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Leftwich sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
