The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johns lands a lovely overhand right.
Johns throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Johns throws a hook but filipex avoids it easily.
Johns avoids a punch combination nicely.
filipex throws a nice looking combination but Johns bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Johns walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Jamarcus Johns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
