The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Frederico lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slovsky circles away quickly and effectively.
Frederico throws a one two combo.
Frederico misses with a wild combination.
Slovsky drops down looking for a counter takedown but Frederico sprawls and moves away.
Frederico scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
Frederico getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frederico closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Frederico misses with a double jab.
Slovsky is looking to counter with head kicks.

Frederico feints a jab promting Slovsky to slip. Frederico then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Slovsky slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
