Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nuss scores with a takedown into Hulo's guard.
Hulo has an active guard here but Nuss has managed to pass into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hulo makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hulo.
Hulo wants to get back to his feet but Nuss is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Nuss is looking to stand up but Hulo won't let him.

Nuss is trying to drag Hulo to the mat but Hulo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Nuss rushes Hulo and presses him up against the cage.
Hulo is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Nuss gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Nuss stands and steps away. Hulo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Hulo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Nuss swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Hanson Hulo showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Hulo shoots in for a double leg but Nuss sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Neal Nuss.
Well Nuss has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
