Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Davis Perkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tristan Ming (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Davis Perkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Tristan Ming!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Ian Loll and Alec Ball.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Perkins or perhaps it was just good defense by Ming, which made it look bad.

Perkins has closed the distance and engaged Ming in a clinch.
Ming wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Ming has had enough of the clinch but Perkins keeps him there for the moment.
Perkins tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Nice body punch from Perkins - that landed with a thud.
Perkins crunches a lovely knee into Ming's ribcage.

A nice left hand lands by Perkins.
Ming takes an elbow to the temple.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Perkins tries to throw a body punch but Ming avoids it by throwing Perkins back against the cage.

Ming tries to pull guard but Perkins holds him up against the cage and eventually Ming drops back down to his feet.

Ming wants to get back to striking at distance but Perkins won't allow it.

Perkins creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses.
Ming is trying to break the clinch but Perkins has him pressed against the cage.

Ming has picked Perkins up - he's going for a ride! Ming dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ming misses with a head shot. Perkins uses the momentum to regain guard.
Ming stays in close to Perkins's body and controls the position.

Ming passes Perkins's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Ming slows the pace down in half guard.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Ming shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ming showed some decent athleticism there.
Ming looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Perkins with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Perkins is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Ming scores with a couple of nice shots.
Ming keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Ming is nestled in close to Perkins, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Perkins enables Ming to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Perkins manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Davis Perkins is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Perkins tries to clinch but Ming is having none of it.
Ming has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Perkins is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Ming stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Perkins utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Ming is pushing down on Perkins's leg trying to pass to half guard. Perkins is fighting to maintain full guard but Ming has managed to sneak the leg through.

Ming is keen to just control but Perkins is a slippery customer.

Tristan Ming showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

The fighters are working up against the cage. Perkins manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Ming thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ming lands a nice short elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Perkins wants to get back to his feet.
Ming is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Ming takes a swing at Perkins's ribcage but misses.
Ming connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Perkins's hands.

Ming closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Perkins to the mat! Perkins manages to get full guard.
Ming passes Perkins's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Still in half guard, Ming seems content to control.

Ming tries to pass the half guard into mount. Perkins knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

Ming landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.

Tristan Ming comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Ming has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
