Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nate Lawliet (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Lesnar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawliet comes into the arena with Stetsasonic - On Fire blaring out of the sound system. Alex Lesnar has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lawliet connects with a crisp jab.
Lesnar with a poor takedown
and Lesnar takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Lawliet throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Lesnar has his takedown stuffed
and Lawliet connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lesnar misses with a takedown attempt
enabling Lawliet to counter with a crisp jab.
Nate Lawliet has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Lesnar.
Lesnar takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Lesnar takes one to the chin there.
Lesnar takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lesnar throws a body kick that misses
and Lawliet counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Lesnar throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Lawliet was covering up waiting for the punch and Lesnar finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Lesnar pushes down on Lawliet's leg and manages to get into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lesnar is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Lesnar trying to pass the guard but Lawliet defending well.
Lawliet is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Lesnar has latched onto it... Big trouble! Lesnar pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Lawliet is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Lesnar!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Alex Lesnar!
