Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Bison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Abbott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bison's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Adelita's Way - Invincible. Mike Bison has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Bison! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Abbott! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Abbott looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bison is fending him off so far but Abbott persists. Nope, Bison circles away and we're back to standing. Bison rushes Abbott and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Bison is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Bison pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice sprawl there from Bison as Abbott shoots in. Bison tries for a takedown but Abbott sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. No luck for Abbott with that takedown attempt. Mike Bison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Abbott. Bison rushes Abbott and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Abbott breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Abbott shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Bison misses with a takedown attempt - Abbott sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bison. Bison stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Bison moves into range and clinches up with Abbott. Bison jumps guard but Abbott stands there with Bison around his waist. Bison gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Abbott takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Abbott looks gassed! Bison is pressing down on Abbott's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Abbott won't allow Bison to sweep him here. Bison preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. That's two minutes gone in the round. Bison looking to hit a scissor sweep but Abbott is one step ahead there. Abbott makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Abbott with a flurry of punches that miss. Bison is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Abbott pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bison closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Abbott to the mat! Abbott manages to get full guard. Abbott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Bison wants to control from the top but Abbott keeps moving. Abbott wants to stand up but Bison is controlling him. Bison passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.

Abbott tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Abbott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Bison trying to control the pace. Abbott manages to escape and get back to his feet! Bison stuffs the takedown. Abbott shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bison as he jumps to the side. Bison will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Bison tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Abbott darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Abbott shoots in but Bison avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mike Bison is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Abbott throws a right hand that Bison ducks under and follows up with a left that Bison also avoids with ease. The fight stays on the outside here - Bison looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Abbott looks for a takedown but Bison sprawls well. Bison drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Abbott striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Bison remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Abbott tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Bison presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Abbott regains half guard. Bison takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Abbott is staying active underneath Bison, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Abbott punching from the bottom.

And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to David Abbott. I think Abbott has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
