Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chung Bruce (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Speed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Chung Bruce!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, King Speed!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Speed is defended easily by Bruce.
Bruce displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Speed.

Bruce drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bruce in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Speed wants to control but Bruce postures up.
Speed tries to bench press Bruce off him but Bruce keeps the position.

Bruce tries for a kimura but Speed is defending well.

Speed is trying to get back to half guard.
Speed wants to get back to his feet but Bruce drags him back down.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bruce shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Bruce showed some decent athleticism there.

Speed makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!
Speed should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Bruce takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Speed goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Speed swings for the body but Bruce moves out of range.
Speed just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromBruce.
Speed has a takedown stuffed.
Chung Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Speed.
Speed slaps away a takedown attempt from Bruce, before circling back to the center of the mat.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Speed dives in and grabs Bruce's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bruce pushes down on Speed's head and hops out.

Speed fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bruce, pushing him back against the cage.

Speed has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bruce uses from the top position.
Bruce really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Bruce is trying to control. Speed wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Bruce is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Speed has managed to free his arm - good work.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Bruce seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Bruce shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Speed but Speed pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bruce sets himself, and Speed steps forward looking for the clinch! Bruce avoids it this time.
Bruce fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Speed misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but King Speed will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Bruce looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Bruce stands up and beckons Speed to join him on the feet.

Speed closes the distance and clinches.
Bruce is trying to maintain a safe position but Speed gets an underhook and turns Bruce into the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bruce stalling in the clinch but Speed improves position.
Speed is struggling to control the position.

Speed breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Speed throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Bruce counters by clinching up.

King Speed is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Speed shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Speed misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Speed is breathing heavily.

Speed tries to score a power double leg takedown but Bruce sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Speed somewhat.
Chung Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Speed.

Speed tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bruce cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Speed is desperately trying to improve his position but Bruce has a good base and remains in mount.
Bruce postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Speed looks a forlorn figure.

Bruce tries to control but Speed wriggling away.

Bruce lands a big elbow.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bruce postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Speed looks a forlorn figure.
Bruce lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Speed closes the distance and clinches up with Bruce, looking for a takedown. Speed pushes Bruce against the cage but Bruce circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Speed avoids a kick to the body.
Speed feints the counter takedown.
Speed looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bruce is fending him off so far but Speed persists. Nope, Bruce circles away and we're back to standing.
King Speed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Speed gets caught flat footed, as Bruce shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Bruce wants to control from the top but Speed keeps moving.
Chung Bruce overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bruce decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Speed, up you get!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Speed throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bruce's waist but Bruce gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Speed off to one side.
Chung Bruce has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of King Speed.
Bruce shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Speed pinned against the cage. Speed gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Bruce manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Speed on his heels. He'll look to pass Speed's guard now, I'm sure.
Bruce is looking to stand up but Speed won't let him.
Speed trying to keep a closed guard but Bruce is proving a slippery customer.

Speed is working an open guard so Bruce takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Speed.

Bruce is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Bruce decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Speed tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Bruce is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Speed's half guard.
Speed is looking to improve his position.
Speed is trying to control but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Bruce looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Bruce moves into full mount! Speed won't be happy about that!

Chung Bruce showed his dominance in that final round.
I think Bruce has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
