Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Rexar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Coors (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rexar's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Big Shit Poppin'. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tyler Rexar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Milo Coors!
The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Daniel Cesar and Seu Braga.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rexar swings for the body but Coors moves out of range.
Rexar takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Rexar throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Coors pushes Rexar up against the cage in a clinch.
Coors has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rexar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Coors lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Coors drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Rexar gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Coors throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rexars head.
Rexar is trying to push Coors away but Coors has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Coors blocks a body shot from Rexar.
Coors wants a takedown but no success here.
Tyler Rexar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milo Coors.
Coors lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Rexar backwards.
A short body shot lands from Coors as the two fighters clinch.
Coors is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Rexar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Coors wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Coors lands with a straight right. Rexar didn't see that one coming.
Coors throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Rexar's waist but Rexar gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Coors off to one side.
Rexar misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Coors doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
We've been told by Rexar's head coaches at Soul Supremacy Rio that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Rexar fails in his attempt to clinch.
Coors throws a shot from downtown. Rexar moves away and avoids it.
Coors looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Coors looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Rexar throws a body punch but Coors moves out of range.
Coors scores with a jab. Rexar acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rexar lands with a shot to the body.
Tyler Rexar is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rexar digs a good body shot into Coors's ribs.

Rexar throws an overhand right that lands on Coors's shoulder, as Coors tries to avoid the shot.
Rexar misses with a body shot.
Rexar tries to clinch up but Coors circles away and keeps his distance.
Rexar swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Coors counters with a single leg into guard. Rexar didn't expect that.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Rexar manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
Rexar lands a right hand that snaps the head of Coors backwards.
Rexar stalling in the clinch but Coors improves position.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Coors creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Coors lands a body punch.
Coors tries to work over Rexar's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
Rexar is pressed up against the cage. Coors has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rexar down to the mat. Rexar avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tyler Rexar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rexar tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Coors was well out of range. Poor timing from Rexar.
Rexar misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Coors.
Coors shoots in but Rexar avoids the takedown attempt easily.

And Coors tries to counter it with a takedown but Rexar pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Coors tries to move into range but Rexar moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Coors tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Rexar throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rexar swings and misses with a hook to the body.

and Rexar counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Rexar drops his hands momentarily and Coors takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rexar throws a poor cross that misses

and Coors counters with a shoot takedown. Rexar fights it but they end up in guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Coors tries to free his leg and advance position but Rexar is retaining full guard.
Coors postures up.
Rexar looking for a sweep. Not yet Rexar, not yet.
Coors trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Rexar keeping moving, preventing Coors from controlling successfully.
Coors loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyler Rexar will probably get the nod.
That's time! Rexar's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Rexar takes a swing at Coors's ribcage but misses.
Coors cracks Rexar with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Coors uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Rexar.

Rexar swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.

Coors closes the distance and clinches.

Coors gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Coors stops Rexar from standing up.
Milo Coors has got the better of the ground game so far.
Coors trying to control but Rexar is working from the bottom.
Rexar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Coors on the ground.

Rexar wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Coors manages to pass to side control.
Coors content to control rather than advance.
Rexar avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Coors.
Coors looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Coors is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Rexar has managed to free his arm - good work.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Rexar wants to improve his position but Coors is controlling well.
Coors throwing shots but Rexar is blocking nicely.
Rexar wants to get back to full guard.

Coors is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Rexar doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Coors.
Coors working over Rexar with some ground and pound. Rexar looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Coors throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Rexar keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Coors trying to mount his opponent but Rexar defends it.
Coors works his way into side control.
Rexar regains half guard there - taking advantage of Coors's attempt to lay and pray for a moment.
Coors scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Coors thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rexar is looking to control Coors's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Rexar avoid being mounted?
Coors thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Rexar's head.
Coors not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Coors throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Rexar blocking the ground and pound attempt from Coors.

Coors quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Coors but it's paid off an Rexar is forced to tap! Nice work by Coors.

Milo Coors took his opportunity to call for a title shot in his post fight interview.
Tyler Rexar was interviewed post fight and said 'Big props to Milo, he's a vetran like myself and probably the best grappler I've faced. I knew it would be a challenge to stop those takedowns, and he got the job done tonight. Thanks MBF for me. I'll get the W next time!'.
