2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Sante Trevisani! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Emerson Jorge and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hogg has managed to clinch.

Trevisani looking to slow down the pace here. Hogg lands an uppercut. A nice glancing elbow lands by Hogg. Hogg scores with a shot to the side of Trevisani's head. Hogg unloads a knee to the mid-section. Trevisani looks winded! Hogg lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Sante Trevisani has been cut. Hogg controlling from side mount. Trevisani is still in real trouble! Can Hogg finish him? Hogg wants to stand but Trevisani is controlling his arm. Hogg staying calm. Trevisani seems to have recovered his senses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hogg's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Hogg has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Hogg moves into range and clinches up with Trevisani. Hogg lands with a right to the head. Hogg putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Trevisani in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Hogg comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Hogg presses Trevisani against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Hogg lands a knee to the head.

A lull in the action here. Hogg decides to stand up, so the ref orders Trevisani to his feet. Hogg has taken the fight to the clinch.

Hogg is working Trevisani over against the cage. Hogg creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Trevisani's defenses. Hogg lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Trevisani backwards. Hogg lands a nice elbow from the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
JD Hogg dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sante Trevisani's cut. That's time! Hogg's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Hogg closes the distance and pushes Trevisani back into the cage. JD Hogg has scored more points in the clinch so far. The two fighters are battling for control here. Trevisani trying to break out of Hogg's Thai clinch. Hogg unloads with a massive knee right up the middle that drops Trevisani to the canvas! He's out cold! Wow, what a knee by Hogg!
