Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Andre Stevenson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAnthony Jordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, DeAnthony Jordan!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Fedor Mirinova and Viktor Lagutenko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jordan clinches up with Stevenson and pushes him back against the cage.
Stevenson looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.
Stevenson misses with some punches.
Jordan will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Stevenson up against the cage.

Stevenson has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Jordan is on him like a limpet, forcing Stevenson back against the cage.

Jordan fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stevenson sprawls well initially but Jordan persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Jordan remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Stevenson throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Jordan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Andre Stevenson.
I think Stevenson has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
