Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bad Idea (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter McBain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Idea's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Boss of All Bosses . McBain comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Harder Than You Think by Public Enemy kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

20 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Peter McBain!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Idea closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
McBain moves out of range of the strikes.
McBain takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from McBain! But no joy.
Idea ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McBain moves away.
McBain tries to bum rush Idea with a series of wild strikes but Idea uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
McBain throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Idea.
Good leg kick by Idea there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
McBain ducks under a wild hook from Idea.
Idea uses good head movement to avoid the hook from McBain.
Idea with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling McBain to score with a decent uppercut.
The crowd cheers as McBain lands an impressive looking overhand right. Idea doesn't seem phased though.

McBain is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bad Idea.
