Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mo Rashid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kid Crusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rashid comes to the cage accompanied by i kill people. Mo Rashid has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Kid Crusher! The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Alexandre Firmino and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rashid darts in and clinches Crusher up against the cage. Rashid breaks the clinch.
Crusher misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Rashid closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Rashid lands in his opponent's guard. Crusher keeping busy, throwing shots from the bottom. Crusher manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Rashid manages to get himself to full guard.
Crusher cracks Rashid with a solid left hand. Crusher throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rashid works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Crusher is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Crusher trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Crusher loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Crusher lands a couple of digs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crusher drops back looking for a leg! Rashid is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rashid manages to kick Crusher off! Crusher jumps back into Rashid's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Crusher is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Crusher wants to pass the guard but Rashid is keeping the position. Crusher drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Rashid manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Crusher has Rashid in his guard. Crusher looks gassed! Crusher throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Crusher gets full guard. Rashid has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Crusher is proving hard to escape from. Crusher is striking off his back. Rashid thinks nothing of it though and passes easily into half guard. Crusher moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Crusher distracts Rashid with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Crusher makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Crusher throws a big right hand that misses. Rashid is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Crusher passes Rashid's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Ground and pound from Crusher. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Kid Crusher dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Crusher shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Rashid counters with a takedown into side control. Rashid wants to control but Crusher is keeping him busy. Crusher throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Crusher looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Rashid is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Crusher defends it well.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Rashid, right into the meat.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rashid looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mo Rashid is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Rashid manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Crusher shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Mo Rashid has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kid Crusher. A slapping leg kick lands for Rashid.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Crusher fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Rashid scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Rashid closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Rashid feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Crusher is looking for a triangle but Rashid pushes his legs off easily.

Rashid swivels though and keeps the full guard. Mo Rashid has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Rashid looking for a guillotine here but Crusher defends easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Kid Crusher. I've got Crusher winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
