Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Great Cornholio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chin Checker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cornholio comes to the cage accompanied by Du Hast by Ramstein - Cornholio Mix. Checker has chosen Time to Fight as his entrance music. Great Cornholio has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cornholio swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A countering left hand to the body from Checker misses.
Cornholio wants to clinch.
Cornholio moves forwards but Checker connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Checker has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Cornholio is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Cornholio throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Checker sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Checker throws out a counter right but Cornholio avoids it with no problem.
Cornholio moves into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Checker escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Cornholio walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
It looks like Great Cornholio has been cut.
Checker clinches with his opponent.
Checker dodges an elbow strike from Cornholio.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Checker misses with a short punch on the inside.
Cornholio's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Cornholio lands a nice uppercut.

Checker is trying to push Cornholio away but Cornholio has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Checker has a couple of punches blocked by Cornholio.
Cornholio creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Checker's defenses.
It looks like Chin Checker has been cut.
Cornholio tries to work over Checker's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Checker lands a right hand.
Cornholio content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Cornholio has clasped his hands together around Checker's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done.
Cornholio tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cornholio has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Checker is trying to buck Cornholio off.
Cornholio wants to control but Checker is keeping him busy.
Checker is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Cornholio has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Checker defending against the ground and pound.
A lull in the action here.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Cornholio prevents Checker from escaping the position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Checker keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cornholio looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Checker connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Checker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Cornholio misses with a head kick.
Cornholio fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Checker moves into the clinch.
Cornholio misses with a hook to the ribs.
Checker gets through Cornholio's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Cornholio content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Cornholio blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Cornholio misses with a body punch.
Checker breaks the clinch.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Checker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Cornholio gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Checker wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Great Cornholio will probably get the nod.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Checker lands a lovely overhand right.
Cornholio closes the distance and clinches.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Checker.
Checker breaks from the clinch.
Checker stuffs the takedown attempt from Cornholio. Cornholio gets slowly back to his feet.
Oooooh!!! Cornholio has knocked Checker down with a huge combo! Cornholio steps away and waves a wobbly Checker back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Checker is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cornholio connects with a left and a right that sees a clearly hurt Checker covering up! Cornholio comes in with a big uppercut and Checker goes doooown! He's slumped up against the cage, eyes staring blankly into space.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:44 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Great Cornholio!
Great Cornholio decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
